Support IJMA: Inter Jewish Muslim Alliance

Countering voices of hatred and bigotry and working together for common interests

American Muslims and American Jews share much in common. We, the members of the Inter Jewish Muslim Alliance (IJMA), are members of minority communities with many common values and traditions that have lived together for centuries in many parts of the world. We are inspired by the ideals of our country which include respect for differing political views, belief in the strength of pluralism, and a commitment to pragmatic public action across ethnic and religious lines.

We are individuals and representatives of leading organizations of the two communities, and allies of other faiths who support this coalition, determined to pursue actions to further the rights of all Americans to freedom of religion and conscience. Through action together and in coalition with others we aim to achieve progress on these rights while embodying the ideals of pluralism and equality for all.

IJMA is a nonprofit project that is fiscally sponsored and legally organized under the African Middle Eastern Leadership Project (AMEL), a Washington-DC based 501c3 organization. As a sponsored project, IJMA focuses on its programmatic goals while its financial and operating infrastructure is managed by AMEL.
