AMEL empowers young changemakers from Africa and the Middle East, and their peers in the Global North, who are leading the way to inclusive societies based on pluralistic and democratic values. Through high-impact training, fellowships and more, we build the knowledge, capacities and networks of innovative young civic activists working to advance dignity and rights for all. In the international halls of power, AMEL's diplomacy and issue education work helps to inform international community responses to conflicts and attacks on democracy in the Middle East, Africa and beyond, while elevating the voices and insights of young changemakers from the region.
